Quickie Review: Adore by Ann Mayburn
Author: Ann Mayburn
Release Date: Nov. 20, 2012
Publisher: Decadent
Sam & Cody #3
Genre: GLBT, m/m, Contemporary Romance, Novella, holiday
Format(s): e-book
Book Source: Publisher
About the book:
|
Sam and Cody have settled into married life, live in their dream house, and are more in love than ever. There is just one thing missing from their lives to make their home complete. A baby to share their love with. Adoption is hard enough, but the struggles and hardship of trying to adopt as a gay couple may be too much for the men to handle. When a series of setbacks leave both men with broken hearts and wounded souls, it will take a Christmas miracle to give Sam and Cody the strength to give adoption one more try.
What B is talking about:
|
Four years into their marriage, Cody McPherson and Sam Dunham have decided that their little family needs just one more thing to be absolutely perfect: a baby to share their loving home. But when the birth mother of their son changes her mind at the last minute, everything they hold dear is threatened as the grief and prejudice they face as a homosexual couple trying to adopt nearly tears them apart. Fortunately, things often happen for a reason, and Cody and Sam discover that one closed door could lead them to more happiness then they’d ever dared to hope for.
I thought this was a very sweet story that makes some exceptionally valid points about the intolerance still faced by homosexuals in our society. Cody and Sam are capable, understanding, loving men who would be great fathers, if only they received the same consideration in the system as heterosexual couples. I was very happy for them in the end, though, and agree with them that things turned out better than they could have imagined. Of course, one of my favorite things about Ms. Mayburn’s stories are the scorching hot sex scenes she writes for her characters, and Sam and Cody get their share. These two are not only great guys, but they’re really, really hot. Adore is sweet, sexy goodness all around, and I’ll be rereading it again very soon.

Holiday Themed Books
Wow! I cannot believe that it is almost the end of 2012! Since you are reading this post, we all know that the world did not end on Friday *phew*! So I guess I'd better finish my Christmas shopping now that I know there will be a Christmas this year!
With the holidays upon us, I've noticed a large selection of holiday-themed books in both print and electronic copy. I've read a few over the years, both multi-author anthologies and single-author books, but all of them novella-length stories. I don't read a lot of them, but I have enjoyed a handful. My two favorites are The Christmas Fantasy by KT Grant and An Enchanted Season
Holiday-themed romances, specifically Christmas ones, tend to be sweet and happy, which are welcomed, especially during what can be a very stressful time of year. But I have to admit, I really don't care to read a holiday-themed story when it's not near the actual holiday. Is that common? Or am I weird? (Wait, don't answer that!) It's okay if a holiday is celebrated within a story - especially if it's a full-length novel that spans a bit of the year, but if the book is specific to the holiday, I just don't seem to want to read it during other times of the year.
What about you? Do you enjoy holiday-themed books? Have you read ones that center around a holiday other than Christmas? What are some of your favorite holiday-themed stories?
Merry Christmas to those that celebrate it!
Happy New Year to all!

Thanksgiving Recipes
I'm always looking for new recipes for holidays. With 'his' kids and 'her' kids, I don't want to only make dishes that my kids have had for every holiday since they were little; getting info and recipes from Mr. VampBard's kids isn't always easy. So... I try to do new and different things.
Our first Thanksgiving living together, each of the kids picked a favorite dish. I did give them category parameters, however (or we would have had a LOT of dessert, I'm sure!). They chose a dish – something they liked – and they helped make it. Granted, our kids are (currently) 11, 12, 15, 16, 18 & 19 (and this was 3 years ago), so it's a little easier to have them help in the kitchen. I've thought about continuing this tradition, only spreading it out over the weekend. Assigning each of the kids a meal over the long weekend; I shop, they cook (with help, if necessary). I think it teaches them how difficult making some of their favorite dishes can be, and I think they have a larger appreciation for the effort it takes to make lasagna or the chili with the chocolate chips...Help me out... What are some of your favorite dishes/recipes for Thanksgiving? The special ones that are only pulled out this time of year? Do you have favorite memories associated with these dishes? Any non-traditional things you tend to make every year?
Happy Thanksgiving!

Sunday Snippet #90
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
The Night Before Christmas
Author: Clement Clarke Moore
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

Review: The Christmas Fantasy
Author: KT Grant
Release Date: Dec. 11, 2011
Publisher: Decadent Publishing
Genre: Contemporary Romance, novella
Format(s): e-book
Book Source: Author
About the book:
|
On a mission to lose her virginity before her thirtieth birthday on Christmas Day, Mandy Lockeheart plans to seduce the only man she’s ever loved; her brother’s best friend, firefighter Jackson Montgomery. With the sexy new body she’s worked hard to earn, she’s certain she can convince him to fulfill her fantasies…
When Mandy comes to him with her sexy proposal, Jackson can’t refuse her adorable seduction. Unfortunately, Mandy’s brother doesn’t want anyone playing around with his baby sister. Jackson must choose between respecting his friend wishes and making love to his perfect Christmas present.
Between Mandy’s occasionally poor body image and Jackson’s honor, the lovers must fight to realize their Christmas Fantasy.
What I’m talking about:
|
Just days before her thirtieth birthday, Mandy, together with her BFF Jessica, head to her brother’s annual party to try and get some action. Both women have worked hard over the past six years to slim down and get healthy. They are taking their “new” bodies and attitudes in hopes of getting laid. Mandy seems to have a head on her shoulders and knows she wants the one man she’s lusted after for years: her brother’s best friend, Jackson. On the other hand, Jessica wants Mandy’s brother, who has a semi-serious (albeit skanky) girlfriend and won’t listen to Mandy when she tells Jessica to look elsewhere.
Ms. Grant does an amazing job capturing the sights and sounds of a 20-something party scene. I swear, I felt that I was back in college just reading this short story. The atmosphere of the party was spot on, although I'd gotten over that by 30, I know many others who haven’t.
Mandy seemed more like an early twenty-something girl, but if she spent her teens and twenties hiding because of her weight, her insecurities and somewhat naive attitude towards Jackson make sense. I also felt that the interactions between Jessica and Mandy were spot on given their backgrounds: still fearful, supportive yet critical and/or competitive. But in the end, they are there for each other.
Jackson and Mandy's first kiss was HOT! It was sweet and perfect: just like a first kiss should be. Characters like Jackson remind me of why I'm a hopeless romantic and give me hope that there are real men out there that are this awesome!
The Christmas Fantasy is the perfect holiday treat to lift your spirits and enjoy a little love. What a feel good, wonderful little tale. Loved it!!

AAD Author Spotlight: Melissa Schroeder
Hello Readers! Today I bring you superstar author Melissa Schroeder. Born to an Air Force family at an Army hospital Melissa has always been a little bit screwy. She was further warped by her years of watching Monty Python and her strange family. Her love of romance novels developed after accidentally picking up a Linda Howard book.
Since her first release in 2004, Melissa has had close to 20 short stories, novellas and novels released with seven different publishers in a variety of genres and time periods. Those releases included, The Hired Hand, a 2005 Eppie Finalist for Contemporary Romance and Tempting Prudence, a 2005 CAPA finalist for short erotic romance. Her contemporary, A Little Harmless Sex became an international best seller in June of 2005.
Melissa has always believed that romance and humor go hand in hand. Love can conquer all and as Mark Twain said, “Against the assault of laughter, nothing can stand.” Combining the two, she hopes she gives her readers a thrilling love story, filled with chuckles along the way, and a happily ever after finish.
Mel is here today to share with us a little about celebrating Christmas in Hawaii and her upcoming Hawaiian Holidays title, Getting Lei'd. And KEEP READING for your chance to win a copy of Mel’s first two Hawaiian Holidays releases... Details for GIVEAWAY are below.
Melissa is a featured author attending Author’s After Dark in New Orleans. For more information about AAD2012, click HERE.
Please help me welcome Melissa to That’s What I’m Talking About. Take it away Mel...
Christmas in Hawaii
We were lucky enough to have lived in Hawaii for three years. My husband got assigned to the Pacific Air Command at Hickam AFB, now joint Pearl Harbor Hickam Base, in 2001. Now, I am a traditional Christmas chick. I like it to be cold. I grew up in Germany, so I pretty much had a lot of white Christmases. I will be honest, I wasn't really thrilled with the possibility of having a HOT Christmas. My husband's career pretty much had us stuck in the south for his career. So, another hot place really didn't appeal to me. But I learned that it isn't such a bad thing walking along the beach on Christmas Day while listening to Hawaiian music and looking out on the beautiful Pacific Ocean. There was also driving to Pearl Harbor and looking at all the ships decorated. It was our first duty station near a naval base so that was pretty cool.
But, over the three years we lived there, I realized something else. The beauty of the islands does not stop at the scenery. Don't get me wrong. It is beyond amazing to see a rainbow several times a week and you cannot beat early evenings on Oahu. But what I am talking about is the Hawaiian people. They have a long and proud heritage that is sometimes overlooked by many people. Their music, their dance, their food, all of these things are part of them. Another thing that made me value them as a people even more was their hearts. For Hawaiians, Ohana, their family, is most important. Many times, you have several generations living together. They value their elderly and they truly believe in the adage that it takes a village to raise a child. And for me, that means a lot. This time of year people seem to take stock of what they have accomplished and want to spend time with the ones they love. For the Hawaiians, more often than not, they do that every day. And in this, they are very blessed. I always remember their spirit of Aloha especially this time of year and fondly remember spending Christmas day calling family while we stood on the beach while they froze on the mainland.
Aloha from my house to yours and I hope that everyone has a Mele Kalikimaka.
More about Getting Lei’d
(Hawaiian Holidays, Book 3)
Maribelle has always been unlucky in love. Bad relationships, bad men, just nothing good. The latest guy is her fiancé, who she found cheating on her at the chapel with her cousin. She never expected Damon and Alex to follow her with seduction on their minds, and she never expected them to want forever.
Damon and Alex have been in love with Maribelle for years. When Damon’s stupid brother loses her because of his cheating ways, the best friends decide it’s time to let Maribelle know just how they feel. Seducing her is easy, but convincing her to stay with them is going to be a challenge—one thing neither man has ever backed down from.
Releases in eBook December 22, 2011 from Siren Erotic Romance.
EXCERPT:
Two-timing, cheating, no-good bastard.
Maribelle Sawyer looked up at her groom. Aaron smiled down at her, that trademark smile of his, the one that had never failed to make her whole body light up like the National Mall on the Fourth of July.
He turned back to the minister, and she continued to study him. He was gorgeous. Not just plain old good-looking-guy gorgeous but movie-star gorgeous. The type of man Brad Pitt would be jealous of. And she had been lucky enough to be picked by him to marry. She had always thought herself fortunate, until she found him screwing her skanky cousin Denise. In the church they were to be married in.
The minister kept droning on about love and commitment, and Maribelle’s head pounded. What the hell was she doing there? Why was she standing next to the bastard as if she wanted to marry him? She didn’t. Not now.
Maribelle glanced at her two friends, Eddie and Sophia. They looked fabulous, both in deep, dark-purple dresses, their perfect bodies showed off to the best advantage. Maribelle had always been jealous of the fact that both of them could eat anything and it didn’t mar their figures. They were watching her with concern, as if they knew something was wrong. No one else detected it. Not her mother or father. Not even her dumbass groom.
She peeked up at him again. He was watching the minister as if he really cared about the vows, about the whole ceremony. It was as if he hadn’t been getting it on with her cousin in the supply closet just thirty minutes ago.
She went to look back at the minister, but Damon caught her eye. He might be Aaron’s brother and best man, but he had always been one of her best friends growing up. They were the same age, with just six months separating them. He had been her confidant when she had been teased at school. He’d stood up to her skanky cousin Denise whenever she had been mean to her. He was watching her with a solemn expression in his eyes.
She turned back to the minister. Why was she doing this? Why did she feel the need to marry a man who couldn’t even be faithful the day of the wedding? How pathetic. She was willing to marry a man who didn’t love her enough to keep his dick in his pants in the church. Why? Lord only knew. But when her father had shown up to walk her down the aisle, she’d still been in some sort of shock.
It was starting to wear off.
“If anyone has a reason these two people should not marry, speak now or forever hold your peace.”
She glanced up at the groom, his stupid smiling face, and her blood started to heat. How dare he stand there and pretend he hadn’t been fucking someone else, as if it was no big deal? As if he had the right to get his rocks off.
The minister started to say something, but before Maribelle could stop herself, she raised her hand.
The minister looked confused, his gaze looking between her and Aaron.
“Maribelle, is there something wrong?”
“I object.”
“Maribelle?” Aaron’s concerned voice filtered through the air.
She thought she heard someone laugh, and she would bet money on Eddie. She had never liked Aaron.
“I object to this marriage.”
Aaron tugged on her hand until she looked at him. There was a flash of anger in the depth of his blue gaze, and she took a step back. His fingers bit into her wrist.
Apparently realizing she was backing away from him, he schooled his features and smiled at her. Leaning down he asked, “What’s the matter, sweet?”
She twisted her arm until he released her wrist. “I’m not marrying you.”
“Oh, God.”
That was her mother. She had always been worried that Maribelle would mess something up, especially this wedding. It was being touted as one of the weddings of the DC wedding season. And she was messing it up. But she refused to feel guilty about it. Well, she did a little, but she would deal with that later.
“What do you mean you aren’t marrying me?”
“I mean, I refuse to marry you.”
Another flash of anger moved over his face, and this time he didn’t even try to hide it.
“What the hell are you talking about?”
“I won’t marry you. Don’t want to. Refuse to.” Her voice rose with each statement.
The irritation on his face dissolved into a look of concern. “I think your nerves might be overset.”
“You’re right, they are.”
He smiled, and she wanted to punch him. In fact, she curled her fingers into her palm, making a fist.
“See, so we can resume—”
“I don’t think so.”

Being Thankful...
I wish to all of my US readers a very Happy Thanksgiving, and to the rest of you - a peaceful, relaxing day!
I am thankful for many things this holiday season. First, I am thankful for my family, especially my two children. They fill my heart with such joy, and I am overwhelmed with love for both of them. Although they have been known to drive me bananas, I can’t imagine life without them. Now, excuse me while I go send them to their respective rooms. LOL!
I am thankful to each of you that stops by my blog to read the reviews and posts. I love the comments, tweets and emails. Knowing that I have connected to fellow book-lovers makes me so happy. Thank you!
I am thankful for my wonderful review team: B, Una, Gikany, Vampbard and Nima. These women have been dear friends for the past few years, and I am so glad that they have agreed to share their thoughts and opinions with you all. They have given this little blog a chance to grow - going from one to two reviews per week to a review almost every day. Their friendship and support have helped me continue, even when I’ve been overwhelmed or feeling blue. Thank you!
I am thankful for the readers, authors and bloggers that make up the romance community. You have all touched me in many ways. From the kindness in your hearts to the wonderful words you write. I have found a home and I enjoy it so much. Thank you!
I am thankful for my friends. Both new and old, silver and gold. Even when I've been a distant, grumpy bear, they find ways to lift my spirit and give me hope. Thank you!
What are you especially thankful for this holiday season?

Author Interview & Giveaway - L.C. Dean
Hello Readers! Today I bring to you erotica author L.C. Dean. L.C. has lived all over the United States from the glorious South to the freethinking West Coast, but returned home to the Midwest over a decade ago, and now resides in the beautiful state of Minnesota. L.C.’s main goal professionally is to push the boundaries her often puritanical upbringing created. Writing about love that does not need society to define it, has been a freeing experience for her and her characters, and she hopes that readers find a similar joy in the reading.
Originally, L.C. was going to come by to tell me a little bit about her new holiday-themed story, Ginger Snaps for Two. However, as you will read below... things didn’t end up that way! But even though L.C. didn’t make it to my office, she did send along some goodies, so stay tuned after the interview for details about a special GIVEAWAY that L.C. is sponsoring.
The day of the interview, I was expecting L.C. to come by, so I was a little thrown when three people walked through my door. Did L.C. bring some of her characters with her? I started to rise, gesturing for them to make themselves comfortable opposite my desk. “I’ll grab another seat.”
The tall gorgeous man, with skin the color of polished black walnut, shook his head. “No need.” With barely an effort he slid the visitors’ chairs together and created a wide, raised spot with the broad arms. His simple white dress shirt followed his movements, and I contemplated hiring him to rearrange my entire house. Maybe he could get the other guy to come along and make it a perfect afternoon. I’m telling you, I could probably sell tickets.
The gorgeous redheaded perched gracefully on the makeshift pedestal with Mr. Tall and Delicious to her left. The other man sank to his knee and slid her high heels from her feet so she could get comfortable without slashing my white leather chairs with her three-inch spikes. I love a practical man.
A shiver shook the young woman as he ran his thumbs over her arches and then dropped into the empty seat with a chuckle. “Sorry, didn’t mean to tickle, sweets,” he whispered softly to her, but I caught it, and her “yeah right,” sounded a bit breathless. She shook her head but contentment softened her eyes as she tucked her bare feet beside his thigh. I assumed he had to be the author, as the other man was far too Alpha not to be the male lead, but thick blond hair and an irresistible grin made him more than hot enough to be a hero. He wasn’t as tall as the first guy, but his wide shoulders and narrow hips spoke well of the muscles hidden behind his bright blue button-up.
I sat back down and searched my notes. The eBook title is Ginger Snaps for Two. The stunning woman had to be the heroine, so which man was the author and which was the hero? Both touched her in a possessive manner: a long, dark hand rested casually on her thigh, and a broader tanned one rubbed her back in slow and sensual circles, almost as if he wasn’t aware he did it.
“How about if we start with introductions,” I began. “I’m, Jen.”
“Selleck Mathews.” My hand disappeared in the grasp of the first man, and a flash of him touching me in more intimate places with his strong fingers made me uncomfortable in ways a woman should not be around another woman’s man. Something about Selleck urged me to give my will over to him and allow him to do with me as he would.
I shifted my attention to my other guests hoping my thoughts didn’t show on my face.
The blond flashed his killer grin again. “Neil Trygstad.”
Now, I was really baffled. Neil Trygstad as in Trygstad Technologies? “Excuse me? I assumed you were the author.” A glance at my notes told me I was wrong. “Is L.C. Dean a pen name?”
The woman laughed. “It is but not his. L.C.’s a bit shy so you’re stuck with us.”
“Oh.” I knew I should have read the book. “I’m a little confused then, I was expecting to do an interview with L.C. about her new holiday-themed ebook.”
Leaning forward, the redhead offered me her hand with a wicked smile. “I’m Ginger.”
And the light dawned. It took me a moment to shift from the sweet image the title had initially conjured to the hot one it implied. I laughed at myself. “Well, that certainly puts a different spin on things, doesn’t it?”
They all three chuckled and Neil laced his fingers through Ginger’s. “Decadent Publishing wanted a hot ménage filled holiday, so L.C. asked us if she could tell our story for Decadent. Decadent is actually offering several naughty yet nice three-way adventures this year.”
“Interesting. Many readers are fascinated with threesomes. Can you tell me a little about yours?”
Selleck made a choking sound and a flush turned Ginger’s fair skin red, but Neil rescued me again with a wink. “I assume you meant how this came to be not the specifics of what goes on in our bedroom, though if you want the truth it’s hotter than any fantasy I’ve ever had, and L.C. doesn’t spare the details.”
“For now, let’s stick to info about how you met and I’ll read about the rest in private.” My cheeks had to match the heroine’s in color. Blood pounded in my ears and warmed my face.
Neil settled back, his thumb caressing Ginger’s knuckles. “Selleck and I have been together a little over two years. He keeps me grounded and I try to show him the fun side of life, but we both felt something was missing, so we went looking for a third, a woman who could balance us and maybe soften our lives a bit.”
Ginger brushed a kiss over his temple. “Instead, they found a bitch.”
Selleck practically growled. “Don’t say that ever again.”
Neil nodded in agreement with his partner, but the gorgeous woman simply shrugged before looking at me. “It’s true. Maybe not so much anymore, but….”
“Enough.” Selleck’s scowl brooked no argument. “You were stressed. There’s a difference.”
The dynamic among the three of them was compelling to witness. Sexual awareness and something more, tenderness perhaps, arced like electricity, linking them all in a way I had never experienced before. I cleared my throat and brought their focus back to me.
“So, Ginger, if you could describe your relationship to outsiders, what would you say?”
She looked from one man to the other, her features soft and open. “I’d say Selleck and Neil are exactly what I’ve always prayed for but never hoped to find.”
The interview continued for nearly an hour, but when I looked back on the transcript to see what I wanted to share with all of you today, Ginger’s one line said it all. I quickly sent an email off to L.C. thanking her for sending me these wonderful characters to interview.
More about Ginger Snaps for Two
Ginger Burke is a hard-nosed bitch who micromanages every aspect of her world, including the subs she controls as a part time professional Domme. No one has ever been foolish enough to think she has a soft side.
Selleck Mathews knows what it’s like to hide behind what others expect, letting down his guard only around the gentle compassion of his partner, Neil Trygstad, who wants nothing more than to love and be loved. Together they are nearly content except they long for a woman, someone to laugh at Neil’s jokes and crave Selleck’s gentle dominance.
Ginger’s needs ring in her voice and shimmer in her expressive blue eyes. Once the guys decide to break through her shell and find the sweet center, they have no intention of letting up until her control snaps and she settles in their arms for the ideal Christmas, perhaps even the perfect forever.
In addition to the holiday release, Ginger Snaps for Two, L.C. has a deliciously erotic yet sweet m/m called Mountain Claiming which is part of Decadent Publishing’s 1 Night Stand series. To see B’s review 4-star review of Mountain Claiming, click HERE.
